Any Suggestions?

Ben - and actually my boss too - suggested I bring a book to work to pass the time. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not sure what kind of book I like but I do know that if it starts off too slow I lose interest fast...

I can't really think of any favorites. Oh except I absolutely loved Count of Monte Cristo. Could not put it down... Actually it was one of the only books in High School that I didn't use SparkNotes to finish before the test ;)

Anyway, anyone have any ideas? I will consider any and all suggestions :)

P.S. LONG post with plenty of pictures coming soon. Like tonight or tomorrow, just can't put pictures on my computer at work.

Some of my favorites that come to mind: The Green Rider by Kristen Britain, Stardust by Neil Gaiman, and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I am a fantasy freak...its the kind of nerd I am :D

I'm sure Sadie or Riki will have more refined picks!

Neil Gaiman is good. I like the graveyard book by him. I also love the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Sounds weird but its good. If you are into fantasy stuff the Name of the Wind is a good one.

Ask mom for sure. Not me, I hate reading.

IT's hard to suggest books when I'm not exactly sure what you like. I'm going to suggest a few of my favorites that are really easy reads. They are really fun, make you feel good, and you can get through them quick. Can't get much better than that. ;)

Fairest by Gail Carson Levine

The Goose Girl, Enna Burning, and River Secrets all by Shannon Hale

Austenland by Shannon Hale (but only if you are familiar with Jane Austen's works)

The Host by Stephanie Meyer

These is My Words by Nancy Turner

P.S. I believe that I own all of these books, so feel free to borrow any of them. All of them are good enough that you'd want to own to read over and over!! They are good investments.

Definitely the "Hunger Games"!!! So good, and there's a second one too, so you will have another book right after. I can't read unless it's suspenseful the whole time. And this one for sure was...SO good!
